Infant Jesus Ashram (“Bala Yesu Ashram”) Visit by St. Dominic Association, 20/07/2025

St Dominic Association had organised Ashram Visit on 20th July 2025 at “Bala Yesu Ashram” Maryhill at 4 pm. Along with the Association members, parishoners and Dominican brothers accompanied the visit. The President of St Dominic Association Mr Walvin Castelino welcomed the Chief Guests and the gathering. Sr. Suguna AC, the Superior of the Ashram thanked the generous visit and good work by the Association members. Fr Meckenzie Mendonsa OP, Assistant Parish Priest addressed the children by encouraging them to be happy and hardworking. Other Chief Guests present on the dais were Sr. Premlatha AC, the Assistant Superior, Mr Maxim Crasta, the Vice President of the Parish Council, Mrs Deborah Locker, the Secretary of the Parish Council, Mr Walvin Castelino, President of the St Dominic Association and Mr Alwyn Pinto, the Secretary of the St Dominic Association. Several fun filled games were conducted for the children, which was followed by variety entertainment program, by the association members. Children enjoyed a lot watching these programs. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the several games in which children took active participation. Mr Alwyn Pinto, the Secretary of the St Dominic Association proposed vote of thanks. The whole program was beautifully compered by Mrs Sujatha Mendonsa. The program ended with the community meal sponsored by the generous members of the Association, which included the necessary groceries.
