“Hang- On” Drama- St. Dominic Association, April 13, 2025

St. Dominic Church Ashoknagar and the St. Dominic Association had organised a Konkani drama “Hang On” on Palm Sunday, 13th April 2025 at 7 pm at St. Dominic Church Ground, Ashoknagar. Mr Walvin Castelino, President of St. Dominic Association welcomed the dignitaries present to the dais. Rev Fr Daniel Veigas, the Parish Priest of St. Domonic Church Ashoknagar encouraged the people of the importance of being aware of the present situation of the youth. Mr Maxim Crasta, the Vice President of St. Dominic Church also appreciated the initiative taken by the St. Dominic Association to organise the drama. Other dignitaries present were Rev Fr Peter Mendonsa, the Prior Provincial of Indian Dominicans, Fr Meckenzie Mendonsa, Assistant Parish Priest, Mrs Deborah Locker, the Secretary, Meera Mendonsa, the Co-ordinator of 21 Commisions and Mr. Clanwin Fernandes, the Director of the drama. Students from the ‘Rang Adyayan Kendra,’ St. Aloysius College (Deemed to be University) under the direction of Mr. Clanwin Fernandes beautifully acted out the present moral issues of the society pertaining to youth. Mr. Roshan Crasta, thanked the dignitaries and the drama troupe. The drama was well appreciated by the audience.
