Covishield Vaccination at St. Dominic Church Hall, Ashoknagar

A Covid vaccination (Covishield) drive was conducted at St. Dominic Church Hall Ashok Nagar, Mangalore on Tuesday 22nd June 2021. The Catholic Sabha and the ICYM associations of the Parish jointly organised this drive for the benefit of the parishioners. Pre-registration of names was done in order to obtain required vaccines from the K.S Hegde Hospital.

The drive began at 9:00 a.m. with confirmation of registrations. Parish priest Rev. Fr. Daniel Veigas, O.P. initiated the vaccination programme with a short prayer. One hundred parishioners aged 18 and above were vaccinated. Volunteers from Catholic Sabha and ICYM cooperated with each other and ably guided the parishioners in availing this facility.
