Covishield Vaccination 2nd Dose at St. Dominic Church Hall, Ashoknagar

Catholic Sabha, Ashoknagar and Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Ashoknagar Unit jointly organized a free vaccination drive for the people above18 years of age, in collaboration with Kasaba Bengre Primary Health Center at St Dominic Church Hall, Ashoknagar on Sunday 19th September 2021 at 9:30 am.

About 300 people benefitted from this drive.

Mrs. Jayalaxmi V Shetty corporator of Derebail 25th ward, Mr. Warren Dsouza President of BJP Minority Morcha, Rev.Fr. Daniel Veigas OP Parish Priest St. Dominic Church, Ashoknagar, Rev. Fr Dileep Veigas - Asst. parish priest, Mrs. Noreen Pinto Secretary of Parish council and President of Episcopal City Deanery Catholic Sabha Mangalore, Dr Shilpa head of the health center, Mr Winson Dsouza President of Catholic Sabha and Ms. Jean Lobo President of ICYM Ashoknagar, were the dignitories present.

The drive began with Prayer song, sung by Gleyona Mendoca and Tanusha Nunes. President of Catholic Sabha welcomed the gathering. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Corporater Mrs. Jayalaxmi V Shetty addressed the gathering. The president of BJP Minority Morcha spoke few words about spreading the awareness and getting vaccinated. The program was compered by Preethisha Menezes, Secretary of ICYM Ashoknagar Unit. Mrs. Meera Mendonca, Secretary of Catholic Sabha proposed vote of thanks to the chief guests and all the staff members of Health center and members of ICYM and Catholic Sabha for successfully organizing this free vaccination camp.
