Christian Marriage registration by Catholic Sabha, Ashoknagar Unit on 16th December 2018

The Catholic Sabha Ashoknagar Unit conducted Christian marriage registration for the couples of our parish on 16.12.2018 at the Parish Hall in the presence of Mrs. Sylvia D’Souza, Advocate and Notary. The event was started with prayer song by the Catholic Sabha members and lighting the lamp by the dignitaries. Rev. Fr. Aquin Noronha, The Parish Priest of Dominic Church presided over the ceremony. Mr. Richard Gonsalves, Vice President of Parish Council, Mr.Issac Furtado, Secretary of Parish Council, Mrs. Noreen Pinto, Varodo Secretary of Catholic Sabha were present. Mr. Francis Ronald Colaco, The president of the Catholic Sabha, Ashoknagar Unit welcomed the guests on the dais and the gathering.

Mrs. Sylvia D’Souza, Advocate and Notary spoke about the procedure and the importance of correctness in the documents. She congratulated the Catholic Sabha for taking the initiative in registering the marriages of the parish people.

Rev.Fr. Aquin Noronha while addressing the gathering told in detail the importance of marriage registration at present situation in the country. He congratulated and wished happiness to all those who enrolled to register their marriages.

Around 35 couples availed the facility. The office Staff of Mrs. Sylvia D’Souza and office bearers of Catholic Sabha assisted .

Refreshments were served to all the people who graced the occasion. The catholic Sabha members of Ashoknagar Unit were present to grace the occasion.
