Parish Christmas Celebration, Pratibha Puraskar, Pastoral Council Golden Jubilee on 17.12.2022
St. Dominic Church, Ashoknagar celebrated ‘Parish community Christmas’ on 17th December 2022. The program began with Eucharistic celebration at 4:00 pm. The cultural evening began at 5:30 pm with musical event, which was followed by dances and skit by artists from the parish belonging to various age groups.
At the same event ‘Pratibha Puraskar – 2021-2022’, of academic achievers from 10th standard, II PUC, Graduation, Post-Graduation, Professional Studies etc. was held. Those who excelled in sports, arts and other fields from 2019 onwards were honoured during the program.
On the same day Parish Pastoral Council Golden Jubilee was celebrated. All the ward gurkars, Parish Vice- Presidents and Secretaries who rendered their selfless service to the Parish for the past 50years were honoured.
Ms. Juliana Crasta, Parish Catechist celebrated her Golden Jubilee of Catechism Instructions. The Parish honoured her for dedicated service in the faith formation.
The celebration ended with community meal. About 800 parishioners participated in the celebration.
