Independence day celebration:

72 independence day was celebrated with hoisting the National flag on the Church premises. Dr Arunachal (retired army Doctor) was the chief guest for the ceremony. In his speech he reminded the duty of every citizen to wake up and stand for the ongoing incidents in the society. Silence is not the solution for the problems that is being faced by us. A large gathering witness the ceremony. National Anthem and patriotic songs were sung. Vinol Pinto was the MC, Preetisha gave the vote of thanks. Entire programme was planned and arranged by the Icym Ashoknagar Unit. Prizes were given at the end for the winners of games conducted on the feast day. Fr Aquin and Fr. Praveen were present at the ceremony.
