ST. DOMINIC ASSOCIATION NEWS:

Visit to St. Antony’s Ashram

The Members of St. Dominic Association along with the Parish Priest, brothers of Mount Saint Dominic, sisters of St. Joseph’s convent and some of the parishioners visited St. Anthony’s Ashram on Sunday, 7th July 2019. The members reached the venue at 3 p.m. After participating in the prayer service organised by the Ashram light refreshments was served. Outdoor games were conducted by Mr. Sathish D’Souza and Mr. Welvin Castelino for the inmates.

At 5:30 p.m, a small stage programme was arranged. Postulant's of St. Joseph‘s Convent Rekha, Snehal and Vincy performed a prayer dance. Mr. Sunil D' Cunha, President of St. Dominic association welcomed the Chief Guest and our Director Fr. Aquin Noronha, Vice President Mr. Richard Gonzalves and Secretary Mr. Isaac Furtado on the dais. Chief guest Fr. Trishanth DSouza, Assistant Director of St. Anthony’s Ashram gave a beautiful message and also appreciated St. Dominic Association for the concern towards Ashram people. The Director of St. Dominic Association Fr. Aquin Noronha in his message appreciated the enthusiasm and good organisation of the association for conducting such lovely programs for the last more than 15 years. Mr. Roshan Crasta the treasurer proposed vote of thanks. Prizes were distributed to the winners of both outdoor games and spot games. Members of ICYM Miss Preethisha, Jennifer and Chelsea performed a filmy dance. Comedy drama “Inspectracho Avatar" was performed by Richard Gonzalves, Welvin Castelino, Valarian Pinto and Paul DSouza as a part of entertainment. A special Baila dance was arranged by the members and joined by most of the inmates of the Ashram. Mr. Isaac Furtado hosted the programme.
