Altar Servers Picnic

The altar servers of our parish were taken for an excursion to 'Relax Leisure Park' Bhramavar on 4th October 2019. 44 of them were present and were accompanied by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr Aquin Noronha, Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr Royston Lobo and two ICYM members’ volunteers namely Jean lobo from Ashoknagar Parish and Jane Mascarenhas from Valencia Parish.

The trip began well on time with a small prayer in front of Mother Mary’s Grotto and the bus reached the destination in less than one and half hour. The children enjoyed themselves throughout the journey as they sang melodious songs and played various exciting games till they reached the venue.

On arrival, breakfast was served at the bank of the river and then children stepped on to the boat to the cross the river and set their foot on the destination. On reaching the park they were dispersed into groups and enjoyed themselves while the volunteers conducted various interesting games.

Further they relished the lip smacking food served to them. After which they refreshed themselves in the calming waters where in the park authorities conducted various intersecting water games.

The evening was wrapped up after the rain dance with great energy on thumping songs. All together it was fun, thrilling and memorable day for all who were present.
