Blessed Stole for the newly joined Altar Servers

It was indeed a great privilege that we had 11 Children from the parish namely Aston, Clarence, Daryl, Gleona, Jathin, Joel, Nash, Shaman, Shawn, Sheldon, Stenan, who had joined few months back the Altar Servers Sodality, received holy stole on Sunday i.e., 28th October 2018 at 8.am. During the Eucharistic celebration these 11 children entered the church in procession along with the parish priest Fr.Aquin Noronha who was also the main celebrant. The ceremony was conducted prayerfully and gracefully. They willingly came forward and made their prayer of surrender to the Lord to serve like St. John Berchmans who is the patron for the altar servers. After which Fr. Aquin symbolically gave them the holy stole and accepted them to be the altar servers officially.

As the parish celebrated the mission Sunday on the same day Fr. Aquin preached on the importance of celebrating the mission Sunday and invited the children to give their time, talent and treasure generously to serve the Lord whole heartedly.

The Parishioners who witnessed this Holy ceremony prayed for them and congratulated those newly joined Altar Servers.
