Visit to White Doves

Members of St Vincent De Paul Society of St Dominic Church Ashoknagar along with the Asst.Priest Rev. Fr. Royston Lobo visited White Doves Ashram on Sunday 9th February 2020 at 3.30 pm. This home is meant for orphans consisting small children to senior citizens around 140 inmates both male and females.

The program was started with a prayer and an introduction given by Mrs. Ida Pereira. Fr Royston Lobo gave them a valuable message of the importance of love and unity as well as the importance of God's mercy in our life also blessed them in a special way. Few games were conducted for the inmates and prizes were distributed to the winners.

Few words of gratitude were given by Mr. Jerald Fernandez the manager, in charge of the ashram. A cheque of Rs 10,000/ was handed over to the manager in charge by the president of the SVP society Mr. Avi Fernandes through Rev Fr.Royston Lobo. The inmates entertained the audience by music and singing. Function was concluded with tea and snacks. Snacks were sponsored by one of the member of SVP.
