75th Independence Day Celebration

St. Dominic Church, Ashoknagar celebrated our Country’s 75th Independence Day. On 15th August 2022 the proud citizens of India from the Parish gathered together to offer prayers to almighty God through the celebration of Holy Eucharist.

Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Ashoknagar unit, led the people for hoisting the flag and honouring the nation. The programme began with a prayer which was followed by inviting the Chief Guest and other dignitaries to the dais, singing patriotic songs. The Chief Guest Mr. Maxim Benedict Monteiro hoisted the flag and gave message. The ICYM members actively involved in this celebration.
